Chino Valley Chamber recognizes Guidance Aviation, Guidance Recognizes Yavapai College and Gives Back

CEO of the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce, Ab Jackson, presented the June 2012 business of the month award to John Stonecipher, CEO and President of Guidance Aviation.

"We want to thank the Chino Valley Chamber for this recognition while also recognizing that our success would not be possible without the partnership and hard work accomplished by our partner Yavapai College and Dean John Morgan", states John Stonecipher*.

"We are one of the fastest growing collegiate helicopter flight training programs in the country with 50 full time employees and 100 full time flight training students.  This partnership has not only created success for both Yavapai College and Guidance Aviation, but also has an estimated economic impact of $15.2 million dollars* on the wider community", remarks Stonecipher.

Last week, the Guidance Aviation Scholarship donated $10,000 to the Yavapai College Foundation.  To date, Guidance has donated $36,000 to the Foundation.  The Guidance Aviation Scholarship fund was established by Stonecipher and Guidance Aviation in 2011.  The scholarship fund donates $1,000 for every graduate of Guidance Academy's Professional Pilot Program at Yavapai College.
